Mountaineering backpack - Men -
The Peak 45 is a mountaineering backpack for men from Ortovox.
Its Manstar 420D Nylon composition is extremely tear and abrasion-resistant, providing you with a strong bag fit for all conditions.
The Peak 45 is very well equipped with a separate compartment for safety equipment, an ice axe, crampons and rope holding systems, as well as a separate map pocket and a hip pocket.
It is also compatible with a hydration system, and includes a diagram showing mountain emergency signals. There is also a circular front zip for quick access to the main compartment.
Thanks to its wide padded shoulder straps and its hip belt which allows for optimal distribution of the bag's load, this bag will provide you with the necessary comfort.
The special feature of the Peak 45 resides in a back panel made of compressed Swiss wool allowing for self-regulation of temperature and moisture in order to keep your back dry, as it can absorb almost 30 times more moisture than a foam back panel. In addition, the close-fitting back panel offers optimal load distribution for better stability.

BACK SYSTEM: SWISSWOOL FULL CONTACT: The special feature of this rucksack is its back panel made of compressed Swiss wool. As with clothing, mountaineers benefit from the wool’s unique temperature and humidity regulation, allowing them to keep their backs dry. Thanks to the wool, the back of the backpack can absorb almost 30 times more moisture than a comparable foam back panel and is almost 7% more breathable. A further advantage of wool is that the surface of the back system dries faster. The full-contact back panel hugs the body, which distributes the load optimally. Its structure features two aluminium struts, ensuring full stability and great comfort even when fully loaded.
