After years of development and research, Scott proposes the Kinabalu 2, which already stands as a benchmark trail shoe.
A new version of the Kinabalu, the Kinabalu 2 takes up the general design of the Kinabalu. But don't be mistaken, this shoe, which has already been made popular by trailers all over the world, has (still) made technological progress.
The Kinabalu 2 has become even lighter on the scales! It loses 20 grams and is now down to 290g per shoe. The result is an easier stride and a more pleasant run feel. Another notable difference is that the Kinabalu 2 is switching to Kinetic Foam. This prestigious midsole equips the brand's top-of-the-range models and allows an optimal power transfer that will allow you to track everyone during your runs.
But the strength of the Kinabalu 2 also lies in its ability to carry over technologies that made the success of the previous generation. First on the list, the Versatile Traction. This thin blade grip profile allows you to grip on all surfaces. Add to this a Traction Rubber that has already proven itself all over the world, and you get without doubt one of the best grips on the planet.
Like its predecessor in the past, the Kinabalu 2 is entering the all-purpose trail shoe market, and it will make all its competitors blush.

- Upper: Mesh/thermoplastic polyurethane: Provides the breathability of mesh combined with the protection offered by a stone barrier.
- Outsole: Ethylene-vinyl acetate/rubber
- Drop: 8mm (29mm/21mm): Multi-purpose drop
- Multipurpose Traction: Multi-layer design of the outsole that allows you to grip on all types of terrain and offer high traction.
- Traction Rubber: Mixture of different rubbers in the outsole for versatile traction.
- Kinetic Foam: The lightest and most responsive midsole of the brand. Returns 14% more energy than a conventional EVA outsole. The result? An even more dynamic and stable ride, while remaining comfortable.
- E-ride: Rocker shape creating a stable position and allowing for a faster, more efficient running style. Impacts the body position by allowing a more dynamic stance and thus increasing running efficiency.
