Their cut below the knee and rising waist in the back provide more protection, their articulated construction is compatible with wearing knee pads, and the zipped front vents allow optimal air circulation.
They have functional accessorisation: Three zipped pockets, an adjustable waistband and a non-slip silicone band on the inside of the waistband keep the shorts securely in place. They can be worn over padded Lycra shorts.
