X-Dream Alpine

The X-Dream Alpine is an ice axe designed for snow and ice climbing, as well as dry tooling from Camp.

The X-Dream Alpine is the key to the evolution of the highly regarded ice axe X-Dream, making it even more effective for high mountain use. It is super light with a weight of only 615g. Owing to its unmatched lightness and extremely good balance properties, this is a very high quality model which will allow you to make smooth and effective progress on each climb.

Its streamlined steel blade ensures that the axe is very effective in thin ice where the blade can easily penetrate and grip, regardless of the slope. This blade is also interchangeable and multi-purpose to give you more versatility if you want to change the blade for a different surface.

The X-Dream Alpine is an incredibly versatile ice axe. A simple six-headed screw allows you to adjust the blade and handle vertically, enabling you to switch between the "ice" mode and the "
dry
" mode. For the "ice" mode, the angles are 100° for the blade and 48° for the handle, offering a more natural movement and better penetration. The "dry" mode provides greater downward traction to reach the most complex holds and hooks.

The handle is made of
aluminium
and is therefore very resistant. Its ergonomic shape with variable angles provides an exceptional grip. Its slightly smaller headplate makes the handle less cumbersome and improves comfort.
