The TX2 comes in a TX2 Leather version that you can find here from La Sportiva. This ultra-lightweight approach shoe will offer even more protection, waterproofing and comfort than the classic version of the TX2.
The low lacing provides excellent precision, as does its sole, which is very precise at the tip of the foot, like a climbing shoe. The TX2 Leather is a lightweight shoe that takes up little space when on a cliff and is easily attached to the harness. It offers very good comfort for cliff access hikes, and the Vibram Mega-Grip sole offers durability and grip.
The TX2 Leather is a real approach shoe, i.e. a shoe to get to the foot of the climbing routes. Its precision allows you to take a few steps with real efficiency.
