Sea To Summit Technologies:

750+ Duvet loft ultra-Dry:
The second most lofty down used in all Sea to Summit sleeping bags. 750+ Fill Power indicates that one ounce (30 g) of down will expand to over 750 cubic inches when compressed. Higher loft means less down can be used to achieve the same temperature rating, which is important for performance sleeping bags.the loft and quality/composition of the down is independently tested byInternational Down and Feather Laboratory (IDFL) - a copy of the certification is supplied with every sleeping bag Sea to Summit. The down is responsibly sourced, RDS certified and treated with the environmentally friendly Ultra-Dry Down .

Nylon UL 15 Denier:
This ultra-light fabric is used on the outside and inside of Ember duvets and Travelerbags, and only on the inside of the Spark series bags. Although this fabric is light, it is quite durable and ensures easy packing and care of your bag or duvet.

Raccord Zip :
Down and synthetic bags identified by our zip symbol use a full length #5 YKK 65" zip to allow for a unisex left handed bag and a right handed bag specifically for women.designed to be paired side-by-side, each person sleeps in their own bag, allowing you to take advantage of the insulation zones, hood and unique features of your bag - perfect for comfortable two-person adventures. Bags with full-length #5 YKK zips on both sides can also be paired with other pairing bags.

EN 13537 standard:
The perception of cold or warmth may differ from one person or manufacturer to another. That is why an international standard has been established to enable consumers and shops to compare the products. This standard defines 3 sleeping bag temperatures:
- Comfort: If you are sensitive to cold while sleeping, this is the lowest temperature the sleeping bag will be comfortable in.

- Lower limit: If you consider yourself to have a high body temperature person when you sleep, this is the lowest temperature the sleeping bag will be comfortable in.

- Extreme: expect a strong sensation of cold and a health risk due to hypothermia. This is only an extreme survival assessment and we advise you not to use it under normal conditions of use.

RDS Ethical Standard:
The RDS is helping to move the entire down and feather industry towards more humane practices in terms of animal treatment. Overseen by industry leader Textile Exchange, the RDS requires independent, third-party assessments of all aspects of farming and treatment of the animals throughout the supply chain. By using only down that meets the verified requirements of the RDS, we can guarantee that each step of the collection procedure is carried out taking into account the welfare and ethical treatment of birds.
