A slipping foot, a fall, months and years of effort gone... In 2015, Romain Desgranges missed the Climbing World Cup by a whisker. He goes to overcome his frustration in the solitude of the granite blocks of Joshua tree. He chose to face his fears by climbing solo. This journey of initiation is at the heart of the autobiographical work he has decided to undertake.
