The Dakine brand

Created in 1979 on Hawaiian soil, Dakine is a brand specialising in extreme sports equipment and clothing. Its speciality? Surfing, but also all disciplines involving sliding on snow, land or water. The brand founded by Rob Kaplan thus offers products for fans of snowboarding, skateboarding, skiing, windsurfing, kitesurfing etc. Taken from the Hawaiian Creole term "da kine", the brand's name is a derivative of "the kind".

The Dakine Heli Pro backpack

One of the brand's flagship products, the Heli Pro snowboard backpack is available in several different models. One in the calssic format, others designed in collaboration with famous freeriders such as Sean Petit or Chris Benchetler. The result is a backpack that is specially adapted to the pracitce of snowboarding and skiing. The Dakine Heli Pro enables the carrying of skis at a diagonal and/or the carrying of a snowboard vertically, but also has pockets for computers and tablets, and a rescue whistle for safety etc. The materials used (in particualr polyester) give the backpack good waterproof properties, protecting your belongings stored inside in the event of a fall in the powder.
