No subject to promotional offersThe new S/Lab Sense Ultra 2 Rd/Maverick/Wh is an ultra performance shoe by Salomon, designed in close partnership with François D’haene, the huge star of ultra running. It embodies his physical and mental preparation for ultra-distance races.
It benefits from all of the brand's expertise and, in particular, combines long-distance comfort, a precise fit, and exceptional grip. It shares its predecessor's DNA, whilst showcasing the latest key developments for an enhanced experience over long distances. In the midsole, the same materials have been used, with a re-engineered design for increased performance.
The main change lies in its use of soft, breathable mesh, allowing the design of the shoe to be seamless and irritation-free. The materials used are slightly thicker for increased durability, whilst maintaining the lightweight feel. It still has a trusted Quicklace system, which provides a very precise fit. The outsole continues to provide exceptional grip, thanks to its use of Premium Wet Traction Contagrip rubber.

Chassis:
- Profeel film: Profeel film enhances your foot support during the middle of your stride, and improves your entire step as you move forward. Using a mechanism which connects the back of the shoe to the forefoot, this technology provides flexibility and stability to the middle of your foot.
Fit management:
- SensiFit™: SensiFit™ technology encompasses your foot, from the midsole to the lacing system, giving you a fit which is both secure and precise, and almost custom-made to suit your step.
- Quicklace™: A simple, efficient way to tie your laces in one go. A shoe which is easy to pull on and off.
Sockliner:
- Moulded OrthoLite® : The moulded OrthoLite sockliner hugs the shape of your foot, to provide exceptional, durable cushioning. The open-cell design enhances breathability and moisture wicking, whilst reducing sensitive spots and improving comfort on the inside of the shoe.
