| POLARLITE | Salewa® has developed its own fleece, Polarlite®, made from synthetic microfibres. It is particularly light and quick-drying. It retains heat well and can be compressed into a rucksack. Salewa® uses Polarlite in different weights according to the principle of body mapping, to deliver targeted heat exactly where the body needs it. Fleece is extremely versatile. Polarlite is used to make fleece jackets, as an inner lining for jackets, as a membrane (softshell), as a protective jacket (hardshell) and as underwear (base layer), because it can be worn next to the skin.
