TheOutback 500 GTX shoes have one undeniable advantage when it comes to hiking: their weight! Weighing in at just 1,000g per pair, the Outback 500 GTX shoes are the most lightweight n the range with great freedom of movement.
The sole unit on the Outback 500 GTX provides ultra-comfortable cushioning over long distances thanks to its moulded EVA midsole, moulded shank and Contagrip® outsole.The Outback 500 GTX W Advanced Chassis™ improves ankle support. The soft collar and ensures you can move easily and the upper moves with each step without getting in your way.
The Outback 500 GTX are made with Cordura which is more hardwearing and they feature a Gore-Tex® membrane and rubber stoneguard. These features will keep you well-protected even on tricky terrain. On top of this, they feature the lace locking system. The locking eyelet is positioned between the front of the foot and the ankle eyelets which keeps the laces in place and enables you to adjust them separately and accurately.
The Outback 500 GTX is a lightweight, modern hiking shoe which provides great freedom of movement and a very comfortable walking experience!
