Ms Wildfire Edge Mid GTX Poseidon/Cactus

The Ms Wildfire Edge Mid GTX is a hiking shoe for men, it is the newest model in the Salewa range.

It has the characteristics of the Ms Wildfire Edge low-top with better protection for your winter walks. Its rising stem will give you better support and the integrated gaiter will protect you from the wet and the outside elements. 

Lined with Gore-Tex, the Wildfire Edge Mid GTX is waterproof and breathable. Walk well protected with a light and efficient shoe thanks to Salewa.

Designed to secure your foot during fairly technical climbs or approaches to climbing routes, the Ms Wildfire Edge combines the format of a mid upper with the advantages of a mountain boot.

Designed with the invaluable help of guides and climbers, this shoe finds its greatest strength in its Switchfit system: when climbing becomes technical and rocky, simply tighten the laces at the rear eyelet of the shoe, which will push the foot forward, providing better support by compressing the toes for greater sensitivity like you'd have in a climbing shoe.
Once the ascent is over, you free up space and regain the comfort of a hiking boot by loosening the rear eyelet.

There are also a number of technologies from Salewa. First of all, the Pomoca Speed MTN sole, which uses  Butilic compound, will give you unprecedented grip whether the weather is dry or wet.

The Exa Shell technology combined with the 3F system ensures flexibility and support of the foot. The  Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) allows the insole to be adapted to the shape of the foot and is equipped with Alpine Fit technology that guarantees zero blisters.
