Designed to offer comfort and ankle protection during your hikes, you can count on this boot when facing technical, rocky trails or via ferratas due to the gripping nature of its Vibram® Alpine Approach sole.
The MS MTN Trainer Mid GTX incorporates Salewa's technologies such as the 100% blister-free guaranteed Alpine Fit, the Multi Foot Fit Plus (MFF +) that allows you to customize your sole with interchangeable layers to perfectly fit to the unique shape of your foot, the Climbing Lacing for greater precision and also the 3F system for a firm hold of the ankle and heel as well as an adjusting foam padding in the heel area.

Traction, hold and confidence: this outsole is designed to master via ferratas, scree slopes and rocky mountain passages. The shoe's profile was designed with a larger surface area to enhance contact when climbing. The crampons prevent you from slipping when using via ferrata ladders.
