Edelrid's Mega Jul Belay Kit Bulletproof Screw Oasis is a complete belay system consisting of a Mega Jul belay device and an HMS Bulletproof Screw FG Oasis carabiner, both made in Germany.

       Mega Jul:

The Mega Jul is a belay device with an atypical design that offers many advantages over its competitors.

The Mega Jul ensures a strong locking of the rope in case of a sudden fall or sudden slipping of the rope. The green notch allows you to rotate the Mega Jul to quickly release the rope and quickly give slack.

You can easily perform your abseiling manoeuvres, whether you are progressing on a long-distance climbing route or not. The Mega Jul can accommodate two ropes at the same time with diameters ranging from 7.8 to 10.5 mm.

      HMS Bulletproof Screw FG Oasis:

Edelrid's brand new HMS Bulletproof Screw FG carabiner is equipped with a steel insert in the area most exposed to wear. The HMS Bulletproof Screw FG is protected against wear caused by the rope running through it, by the friction when used with belay devices, or by clipping the carabiner into metal plates.

The wire spring keeps the HMS Bulletproof Screw FG in the right direction when you are abseiling a climber. The Keylock system makes handling easier and Edelrid's H-Frame construction reduces the HMS Bulletproof Screw FG carabiner's weight to a staggering 84g!
