Patagonia uses PrimaLoft® filling for its compressibility, warmth and comfort. PrimaLoft® is a patented microfibre insulation that traps in body heat to save energy. The ultra-fine microfibres are designed to be water-resistant, so that the filling stays dry for longer and retains its insulating properties. This synthetic insulation offers very good breathability, making it ideal for intense activity. Gold Insulation Eco's performance is derived from PrimaLoft®'s exceptional synthetic insulation properties while using 55% recycled polyester fibres.
