The Lone Peak 5 is the flagship men's trail shoe model from Altra.

At Altra, the objectives are comfort and protection of your feet, trying to get as close as possible to the natural running and movement of the foot. This results in a drop of 0mm, so the foot is flat, in its natural position. What also brings comfort is the front of the shoe which is wider than on a classic shoe, allowing the foot to squeeze a little more without you being restricted in your shoes.

Despite all the care given to your feet, the Lone Peak 5 remains focused on efficiency, whatever the terrain. It is quite light, and very efficient in all conditions.

The sole features two of Altra's own technologies, the Trailclaw and the Maxtrac. The result is a unique sole that combines comfort, grip, precision, traction, durability and efficiency, even on the most difficult terrain.

It is possible to integrate a gaiter without using straps, which will prevent you from having debris under the sole, meaning this shoe offers yet another advantage.
