Description

The Light Down 5° Vermillon is a bivouac sleeping bag from the brand Millet.

Made from duck feathers, it will provide you with good warmth and better insulation. A wind flap at the collar helps to retain the warmth generated by your body. This model features a water-repellent K Dry Downfinish that prevents the down from clumping when damp, ensuring the sleeping bag remains light and dry.

Its comfortable temperature of 10°C and its high compression capacity make it ideal for taking with you on treks or hikes. To keep you properly protected at night, this sleeping bag features a double-drawstring hood with shoulder flaps. Finally, its close-fitting, sarcophagus-like shape improves thermal protection, and the internal pocket allows you to access your essentials without having to take the bag off.

This product is certified Oeko-tex® and/or bluesign®, two labels that guarantee environmentally friendly production and the absence of chemicals that are harmful to the planet and to health.

As you’ll have realised, if you’re looking for a warm, insulated sleeping bag for your mountain bivouacs, the Light Down 5° is the one for you.

How do you wash your sleeping bag?
- The sleeping bag should be machine-washed at a maximum of 30°, on a delicate programme, and left to air-dry.
- Use a mild detergent and turn your garment inside out.
- To ensure the best possible wash without damaging the item, set the spin speed to the Minimum setting.
- Also fasten any velcro fastenings, pop buttons and Zips, and loosen any elasticated drawstrings before putting them in the washing machine.
- To prevent the thermal insulation in your sleeping bag from clumping together, we recommend placing two tennis balls in the tumble dryer drum before running a cycle at a low temperature. Several drying cycles may be required to dry the product completely.
- Do not dry-clean.
- Do not iron.
- Do not use bleach on this garment.

Composition :
- main material : 100% 20D 380T Polyester
- Secondary material: 100% 20D 400T Ripstop Polyester with a durable DWR , PFC-free water-repellent finish
- Insulation : 90% duck down, 10% duck feathers – certified RDS with a durable DWR , PFC-free water-repellent finish

H-SHAPED CASE The H-shaped box construction is the most classic and the most comfortable. It offers an excellent balance between thermal insulation and compressibility.
K DRY® Insulation developed by Millet using natural down, which has been treated with a water-repellent finish consisting of a thin layer of polymer added to the down, creating a water-repellent barrier that keeps water out whilst retaining its lightness and insulating properties even in damp conditions. This treatment does not affect thermal performance and allows the down to breathe. A key factor in comfort, this insulation will keep you perfectly dry for a long time and with great effectiveness.
RESPONSIBLE DOWN STANDARD (RDS) The standard RDS ensures that down and feathers come from ducks and geese that are treated well, are in good health and are able to express their natural behaviours, without experiencing pain, fear or distress. This standard covers the entire supply chain, from livestock rearing to the finished product.
OEKO-TEX® Oeko-Tex® is a testing, auditing and certification system designed to ensure environmentally responsible practices throughout the textile production chain. It includes all areas relevant from an operational perspective (management, production technologies, resource use, quality assurance, safety precautions, social conditions, etc.) in its sustainability assessment. Oeko-Tex®To be certified as compliant with the Standard, companies must meet criteria relating to their environmentally friendly production processes and demonstrate a dedication to social responsibility at every stage of production.
BLUESIGN® The system bluesign® is the solution for an environmentally friendly textile industry. It regulates the use of harmful substances right from the start of the manufacture process and sets and monitors standards for safe and environmentally friendly production.
