The Kestrel 38
is a women's hiking backpack from Osprey. The is perfect for short- to medium-term itinerant trips or adventures that require you to carry a moderate amount of equipment. This Osprey backpack will stand up to any weather conditions.

This series Kestrel has been modernised in the same spirit, while retaining the features that made it such a success. In terms of carrying, this is a comfortable bag with a 'classic' foam back that is Airscape well ventilated. The straps and padded waistband provides good stability of the bag on the back. All the straps and the back panel are adjustable, so you can adapt your backpack to your body shape. Kestrel 38 includes a rain cover to protect your bag and belongings when the weather turns nasty. 

Its external attachments can accommodate large items of equipment such as a groundsheet or tent. The Stow-on-the-go™ pole holder system is very ingenious because you can attach your poles to your bag without having to remove your bag. 

The various pockets are very practical and allow you to organise your bag. It has a large zipped side opening that extends from the flap to the compression straps at the bottom of the bag, so your equipment is easily accessible. The Kestrel 38 also has a drawstring access under the top flap and a lower sleeping bag compartment with removable divider.
