The Jackal II are men's trail running shoes from La Sportiva.

The Jackal II is an ultra-lightweight shoe, weighing just 275g per shoe, 30g less than the first version of the model! Designed for endurance trails and ultra-marathons, it is suitable for all trail uses but will be particularly good on long runs and extended training sessions.

This model offers exceptional cushioning thanks to the innovative Infinitoo technology. This allows perfect absorption of impacts and guarantees a very high return of energy during the run, with the aim of avoiding unnecessary fatigue and protecting your joints from repeated shocks.

The Jackal II also guarantees very good comfort thanks to its comfortable and loose fit designed for long distances. Its recycled Net Mesh allows for very efficient ventilation. Its new tongue perfectly envelops the foot to provide maximal freedom of movement, all while offering good breathability and lightness when running. The lacing system, made from recycled materials, is comprised of loops that have been directly inserted into the side panels of the upper to allow for a tailored fit that is more adapted to long runs where the foot can tend to swell. The heel has been totally redesigned and rebuilt with new material for a better fit and more grip.

In terms of grip, the FriXion Red construction on the outsole offers a combination of grip, wear resistance and impact absorption It is very versatile and has been designed to adapt to all types of terrain, including rock, scree, grass, moss and mud. Equipped with Impact Brake System side crampons, it offers a flawless grip in all conditions! In addition, an EVA midsole provides even more cushioning and comfort, while a Rock Guard side insert made of EVA stabilises the foot and protects it from impacts.
