It allows you to abseil down using a single strand and then retrieve the rope with a very simple manoeuvre. In fact, you simply need to pull on the rope eight times for the knot to come undone, releasing the rope and the Abseil system. Very light and compact, it can be used on all rope diameters from 7.3 mm upwards.
