In practical terms, the AX4 GTX W is built around a rubber Continental™ outsole for exceptional grip in all conditions as well as a very comfortable EVA midsole. Between these two layers is a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane, while the mesh upper with synthetic insert offers the same level of comfort you'd expect from a running shoe.
