The innovative ZipOver backpack system keeps your bag and its contents dry even in persistent rain. The Alpine GORE-TEX jacket is made of PFC-free GORE-TEX PACLITE®, an ultra-light, breathable fabric that is absolutely waterproof thanks to its welded seams. The ZipOver system allows you to expand the jacket at the back by means of a long zip, so that it can easily be worn over your trail backpack. Whether the system is open or closed, the shape of the garment is optimally adapted for complete freedom of movement at all times.
The original underarm ventilation concept promotes air circulation and temperature regulation. Reflectors on the sleeves and on the back improve visibility in low light conditions. And when you're not using the jacket, you can store it easily and compactly in its own hood. Elasticated cuffs and bottom hem ensure a precise fit.
