The upper and overlays are made from high-quality bovine leather, sourced from farms in Uruguay, a country renowned for its livestock. This leather is tanned in Brazil, strictly adhering to REACH standards, with particular attention to limiting water consumption during the tanning process. The insole cleverly combines Amazon rubber and bio-based EVA made from sugarcane, along with organic cotton and other environmentally friendly materials, ensuring optimal comfort and pleasant cushioning.
The outsole of these shoes offers durability and grip. The lining is entirely made from recycled polyester, while the laces are crafted from organic cotton, highlighting the brand’s eco-responsible approach down to the smallest details. These sneakers are made in Brazil, from stitching to assembly and finishing. Veja’s commitment extends to the packaging, as even the box and tissue paper used are recycled or sourced from sustainably managed forests.
