G-1000® is made by Fjällräven. It's made from high quality polyester and cotton, and then impregnated with beeswax. This makes it extremely durable, highly breathable, but also wind, water and dirt proof. This material offers almost total protection against UVA and UVB. Its compact weave protects your skin from mosquitoes and other flying insects (note that G-1000® Lite fabric does not protect against mosquitoes). This material is available in different versions in order to offer you year-round protection adapted to all your activities whatever the conditions. It is recommended that you treat your G-1000®product with G-Loft SupremeGreenland Wax to preserve all the benefits.
G-Loft Supreme is a high quality synthetic insulation with outstanding functional properties. Developed exclusively for Fjällräven by the Austrian insulation experts at Goldeck Textil, the unique blend of hollow and super fine fibres at G-Loft Supreme offers an exceptional warmth to weight ratio.
The fibres have a natural bundling property, similar to high quality down, and form innumerable air-retaining pockets.
A "memory effect" in the molecular structure means that the fibres automatically return to their original spiral shape, even after repeated washing and intensive wear.
G-Loft Supreme is also quick-drying, highly compressible and easy to care for - with excellent thermal properties even in extremely wet and cold conditions.
G-Loft Supreme is made of polyester with 10% recycled fibres. It is produced in Austria.
