How to measure clothing

Make sure you are aware of the following when taking measurements:

  1. Height: Your height if from the top of your head to your ankles. 
  2. Chest: To measure your chest you need to measure under your arms and over your pectoral muscles.
  3. Waist: To measure your waist do so at the norrowest place.
  4. Hip: To measure hips measure around the widest point on your hips.
  5. Sleeve Length: To measure your sleeve length measure from the centre of your neck to the your wrist, folowing your shoulder. 
  6. Inseam: To measure your inseam measure the length from your groin to your ankles.

How to measure socks

You will need ...1 tape measure1 ruler1 piece of paper1 corner of a wallThe socks (the ones you want to use with your shoes)
 
Then ...
  1. Put the piece of paper next to the wall.
  2. Put you foot on the paper with your heel touching the wall
  3. Make a line on the paper at the level of your longest toe
  4. Measure the space between the line on the paper and the edge of the paper where your heel was.
