Made from soft leather sourced from farms in Uruguay, a country known for animal husbandry and the quality of its leather, these shoes feature insoles and outsoles made from recycled and plant-based materials. The leather is tanned in Brazil in compliance with REACH standards, and water use is carefully managed throughout the tanning process. Additionally, the laces are made from organic cotton. The cotton is grown in Brazil and Peru by cooperatives that respect people and the environment, following fair trade principles. In Peru, organic cotton farmers are supported in their certification and receive technical and financial assistance to improve their production. |
