What's GORE-TEX® technology?

GORE-TEX® is a waterproof and breathable fabric invented by WL Gore and Associates. GORE-TEX® allows you to stay dry during rainy weather but also during intense workouts (since the fabric is made of millions of nano pores that let perspiration's water vapour escape but prevent external moisture from entering the fabric).

These fabrics are used for the manufacturing of ski jackets and mountaineering jackets as well as for ski gloves and hikings boots.

 
GORE-TEX® PRODUCTS

Main feature: versatility

Uses: all outdoor activities

It is the "basic" membrane, the most used on the market. It is perfect for a variety of uses, especially on ski jackets. Snowleader offers a wide range of GORE-TEX® ski jackets from Millet, The North Face, Haglöfs, Norrona and so on.

Of course, you are free to use a GORE-TEX® jacket for cycling, walking, and all kinds of outdoor activities.

GORE-TEX® ACTIVE PRODUCTS

Main feature: increased breathability

Uses: intense daytime activities

The GORE-TEX® Active membrane is designed for intense sports activities such as cycling, running, trail and so on. Extremely ventilated, it allows you to wick away perspiration very quickly while being completely dry. These products feature very simple and close-fitting cuts.

GORE-TEX® PRO PRODUCTS

Main feature: strength and resistance

Uses: extreme conditions

The GORE-TEX® Pro membrane is very durable. It is recommended for people who work in extreme conditions or who have to wear their ski jacket every day (mountain professionals for instance). Its thickness prevents tearing and friction.

The Surround® technology allows heat and moisture to escape while preventing water from infiltrating the shoes.
