Technologies:
-ThermoBall™: ThermoBall™ is an ultra-lightweight synthetic insulation with high compressibility. It is able to retain its volume and trap heat even when wet. The North Face™in partnership with Primaloft®, offers a new synthetic alternative to down. Thermoball™ is a real revolution in insulation technology. In contrast to the continuous filament of traditional synthetic insulation, the synthetic fibres PrimaLoft®, thin and round, resemble down fibres and retain heat in small air pockets.

-Primaloft: The PrimaLoft® filling is used for its compressibility, warmth and comfort. The human body needs to burn calories, and therefore energy, to produce heat. The PrimaLoft® is a patented microfibre that retains body heat and therefore saves energy. The ultrafine microfibres are designed to be water-resistant, so that the filling stays dry for longer and retains its insulating properties. This synthetic insulation offers very good breathability, making it ideal for intense activity.
