NETPLUS® | Developed and patented by Bureo®, a Chilean association that fights against ocean pollution, this technology involves recycling fishing nets: the nylon and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are 100% recycled to create a new material. The latter is used to make the brim of Patagonia caps, or the reinforcements on Carver skate decks, etc. |
FAIR TRADE CERTIFIED™ | The brand pays a premium for each Fair Trade Certified™ product bearing the Patagonia logo. This extra money goes directly to the factory workers who decide how to spend it themselves. This program promotes the health and safety of workers as well as respect for social and environmental standards. This also encourages dialogue between management and employees. |
