About Rab

The Rab brand was founded in 1981 by Rab Carrington, a worldwide name in climbing and mountaineering. The mountaineer designed his first sleeping bag in his loft, sewing items by hand. A few years later, following ever-growing demand from those around him, Rab eventually sold sleeping bags he had made bearing his name.
