Helmsman Sweatshirt Grey

The unisex Helmsman SweatshirtGrey from Makia is the result of a collaboration with the designer Mauri Kunnas.

Mauri Kunnas is Finland's most famous cartoonist and author of children's books. His books have accompanied several generations of Finns on their way to adulthood and have been translated into 35 languages and published in 36 countries around the world.
Mauri Kunnas was born in Vammala and graduated from the Helsinki University of Art and Design as a graphic designer in 1975. He worked as a political cartoonist in many Finnish newspapers. Mauri's books feature human-like animals and recurring characters such as Mr Clutterbuck, a sleepwalking goat.
He attributes much of his success to his wife Tarja Kunnas, who worked alongside him for twenty years painting her husband's drawings. In 2014, Mauri Kunnas won the "Vittoria Samarelli" literary prize in Italy.
