The entire textile part of this pair is made from cotton, and the sole has been designed from a mix of Amazonian rubber and synthetic rubber, for optimum walking comfort. The shoes are made in Brazil, as close as possible to the raw materials, in a factory that respects workers' rights.

The cotton is grown in Brazil and Peru by cooperatives that respect people and the environment, in accordance with fair trade principles. In Brazil, cotton is organic and agro-ecological, a form of agriculture that enriches the soil after it has been cultivated by making the most of the complementary nature of the species grown and the retention of water in the soil. In Peru, organic cotton farmers are helped to obtain certification and receive technical and financial support to improve their production. |
