Nidecker is continuing the Quiver range again this year for snowboarders looking for a surfy feel. The Smoke 2022 is a snowboard for experienced male riders who want to ride the mountains like never before!
Inspired by the 90s, the Smoke is a real all-mountain freeride board. Its directional shape with a longer nose and rearwardly positioned binding inserts offer maximum board lift for unforgettable powder sessions. The standard camber with a rocker on the nose and a shorter tail improves the board's manoeuvrability and lift.
The Light Core, a result of many years of research, combines Paulownia wood for lightness, Poplar for pop and reactivity, and Beech stringers for durability and shock absorption.
The Smoke is a typical freeride board, ideal for big days of powder, but which remains versatile for carving sessions on the piste.
True to Nidecker's quiver range, the Smoke is aimed at snowboarders looking for a fun board that can be taken anywhere.
Camber:
Positive Camber: Classic camber under the legs for grip, dynamism and support under the edge. The right standard camber for stability and maximum pop, combined with a nose rocker for better flotation.
Shape:
Nose Diamond: shape that makes it easier turn. Perfect for all riding styles.
Tail Diamond: makes exiting turns smoother, designed for long sidecuts and long edge holds.
Core:
Light Core: the lightest core combining 3 types of wood. Paulownia wood for lightness, Poplar for pop and reactivity and Beech stringers on the edges for durability, pop and shock absorption on the edges.
Topsheet:
Combo-Tri Ax and Bi-Ax: Tri-axial glass fiber on top and Bi-axial on bottom of the board which perfectly transfers energy for an optimal response of the board.
Tinted Resin Absobnid: topsheet that absorbs vibrations and makes the board more reactive, dynamic and above all less tiring.
Base:
N-9000: base boosted with carbon nanoparticles. The N-9000 is Nidecker's strongest and most durable base. It will therefore require more regular waxing.
La Smoke est une board très agréable à rider. Elle est le bon compromis entre la Mosquito et la Gun, combinant un aspect freeride engagé et un coté plus fun grâce à sa maniabilité.
