The Speedguide 88 is a touring ski for men from Scott.
Scott's Superguide range offers the perfect balance between performance, power and lightness. The Superguide 88 will accompany you on your most extreme adventures.
It is especially designed for experienced skiers who wish to progress quickly and over long distances in order to explore the mountains, while maintaining good comfort and performance once ski mode is activated.
It is the narrowest and lightest version of the Superguide range for better climbing performance and handling. Apart from its dimensions, the Superguide 88 has the same construction as its big brothers Superguide 95 and Superguide Freetour.
The Superguide 88 has an integral paulownia wood core with hardwood reinforcements for a light yet more rigid ski.
Its semi-elliptical sandwich construction with sloping carbon and aramid edges provides excellent torsional rigidity while reducing weight considerably. With Scott's unique 3Dimension Sidecut, the ski is lively and allows for easy turn initiation despite a long radius. You can also adapt your turns as you want and according to the type of terrain.
In terms of shape, the Superguide 88 is equipped with Rocker 320 Pro-Tip, giving it the necessary lift in deep snow as well as versatility and agility.
The result is a stable ski, with good grip, versatile and light enough to face even the biggest slopes without flinching. Finally, the Superguide has a quick and easy skin fixation system developed by the brand.
For experienced skiers looking for a high-performance ski on the ascent, which is also reliable and tonic on the descent, all with disconcerting versatility!

Wood: full-length Paulownia wood core and beech reinforcements, giving the ski a more homogenous flex and creating a smoother transition between the central part of the ski and the rocker shape of the tip and heel.
3 Dimensions Sidecut :
The 3D dimension sidecut consists of two radii and a straight edge line under the foot. The radiuses of the tip and the tail allow you to move into a turn, while the flat centre brings stability, power and precision. Designed in collaboration with athletes from the Freeski team, the 3D sidecuts give the ski great versatility, balance and power underfoot, responding to the demands of the best skiers in the world.
Pro-Tip 320 Rocker: All terrain / Precision
- Increases stability in powder and deep snow
- Forgiving, which allows the skiers to adapt the shape of their turns
- Improves the agility and progressiveness of the ski
Scott's skis come straight from the factory with an edge angle of 88°, resulting from a 3° side angle and a 1° base angle, for excellent performance. So you can put your skis on and hurtle down the slopes with no adjustment needed.
A touring ski offering an exceptional weight/reactivity ratio.
A ski that is light, pleasant and easy to handle on the way up, its 88 mm waist keeps a fairly good grip on the way up. Despite its reduced weight, the ski remains responsive and dynamic to have fun on the descent and to link long curves.
Advantages: Weight, good torsional rigidity
