The Spray Tray is a men's snowboard from Amplid.
Part of the Future Shapes family, these innovatively shaped boards offer unique riding thrills, the Spray Tray answers a need for an agile pow board with a very surfy tail! Tailored for lighter riders, the Spray Tray is perfect for use in powder-filled forests where slaloming is good. Much shorter than its sisters, the board still shows a very good buoyancy thanks to its swallow tail and tapered shape.
In order to remain poppy and responsive, Amplid has equipped the Spray Tray with the Carbon Pop Band, which is a carbon band integrated into the core and runs across the board from nose to tail. The Snommelier features the lightweight, durable and versatile OMNI Core, and HEXO2 Lite technology, which is the insertion of honeycomb-shaped recycled paper at the nose, to make the Snommelier considerably lighter.
The Spray Tray is the ideal board for powder sessions in the fir trees.
Flex - 6/10 - Medium flex.
Camber :
Cruise Camber (Camber+rocker) : the standard camber under the supports completed by the rocker on the nose makes the board even more lively in powder and gives the board the possibility to go everywhere.
Shape :
Tapered Directional : Classic shape with the nose slightly longer than the tail for float on unpacked snow. Tapered refers to a shape in which the tip is wider than the tail, making it easier to enter and exit turns, allowing for greater the stability at high speeds, and improved float.
Floatation Tips : the square nose increases the flotation of the board in powder snow
Core :
Omni Core : wood core with proven strength through years of research by Amplid. Versatile and robust core.
Carbon Pop Band: carbon strips placed the length of the board through each insert zone. Amplifies pop and retains the board's natural flex
Hexo2 Lite : the tips incorporate honeycomb parts for effective weight saving!
Pre-cured Impact Plates : core reinforcement at fastener inserts limiting impacts caused by bindings
Topsheet :
Biax Fibreglass : double layer of fibreglass applied in both directions for a reactive and tolerant board.
Sole :
Sint 7 HD base : premium wax-absorbing sintered sole for unequalled glide
Si vous êtes prêt à exprimer votre créativité, la Spray Tray est faite pour vous! Cette board au design futuriste met en avant une personnalité très prononcée freeride. Mais la particularité de la Spray Tray reste toutefois sa polyvalence. Le shape très surfy offre une excellente portance et jouabilité en poudreuse, et le cambre standard conserve une bonne accroche sur piste lors des prises de vitesse.
Véritable planche de freeride, la Spray Tray se montre également très performante pour des sessions carving sur la piste. Pour slalomer entre les arbres ou prendre de la vitesse sur les grands champs de poudreuse, la Spray Tray est une valeur sure!
