    Detailed description

    The Faction Prime 4.0 2018 is a Men's All Men's Ski Packages

The brand new range, Prime, from Faction for 2018 has been developped in collaboration with one of the big freeride names: Sam Anthamatten. The Freeride World Tour rider and mountain guide wanted a sharp ski with phenomenal performances ... Only he also wanted this ski to be light enough to take him on long hikes. To obtain this wonderful range, Sam and the design engineers used ultra-lightweight materials to achieve torsional rigidity similar to or better than the best freeride skis. The core is composed of a mix balsa / flax fiber. The revolutionary Textreme carbon provides an extremely strong ski, and again ... lighter because it is designed on a finer weave but better thought. Of course, the more classic recipes of a modern ski are also part of the Prime: sandwich construction, long double rocker, odds lines with several radius lines to increase stability at high speed while improving the responsiveness of skiing in short turns. And even a small layer of titanal underfoot for more stability and power.

4.0: The Prime range is available in 4 different versions. The Prime 4.0 is the widest of the range with a 118mm skate. Equipped with surdimensional lines, Sam Anthammaten's favorite ski is a monster in terms of stability on the most exterme hills and is just enjoyable in deep snow conditions, it is also very lively abling it to get out in very technical terrains. When it takes speed, the Prime 4.0 is a bulldozer and will give you incomparable sensations. Also, who would have thought that one day we will be able to take in large height differences in touring with such a "fat" ski? Already legendary...

    Snowleader Review

This Prime 4.0 made a very strong impression. With such side lines, we wouldn't imagine touring with it, and yet, it excels. And when you enter the downhill mode, the ski has no limit. All the same pay, attention to your health, it only wants to accelerate. Rather responsive with a relatively short radius for such a wide ski, it is even more comfortable when you attack hard. It's almost impossible to shake it despite its light construction, which is almost disturbing! A masterpiece. Be careful though, the Prime 4.0 is very demanding and will not be suitable for all skiers.

Pros: Beyond norm stability, réactivity despite its size, lightness/performances ratio

Cons: ski that requires a good level and alot of energy... but for loads of pleasure!

    Detailed description

    The Marker Griffon 13 ID Black/Blue p is a Unisex's All Men's Ski Packages

The Griffon 13 ID is a freestyle and freeride ski binding by Marker.

Because at Marker nobody is put aside, lighter riders can also get a high-end bindings thanks to the Griffon 13 ID. The younger sibling of the Jester 16 ID, she takes the same design and the same remarkable design of the German brand.

Incorporating the very practical Sole.ID technology, the binding adapts toshoes with alpine standards (ISO 5355) or touring standards (ISO 9523). Aimed at advanced to expert skiers, the Griffon 13 ID is proving to be very sturdy thanks to the tear-resistant screws. The binding is very well balanced in terms of weight, which gives it an excellent behavior for freestyle use. Combined with its short and compact design, the Griffon 13 ID behaves very well during rotations.

As with all the brands bindings, AFD (Anti Friction Device) technology is also available to ensure reliable and accurate triggering. In addition, the front and rear jaws offer very good energy absorption, especially in freeride, to avoid an early release and promote an ideal power transmission.

It remains one of the best quality / price / performance in its category.

Recommended for skis over 76mm wide.

    - AFD Stainless Steel:
all Marker bindings are equipped with an AFD (anti-friction device) fastening and guarantee a release of the highest precision, practically free from the influence of dirt, snow or ice! An adjustment of the AFD according to the area of use ensures the perfection of its operation - whether in the context of competitions, activities for children or ski tours.

    - Triple Pivot Elite Toe: this concept of front jaw, with DIN / ISO up to Z 18, guarantees an exceptional retention force in case of freeride. The front jaw spring is placed in an oblique position, and the 5 ° inclined foot support provides energy absorption at the highest level to reduce the risk of early triggering. A large support surface optimizes the transmission of forces and allows the implementation of the highest forces. The jaws with this technology reach levels of performance never equaled, relative to their weight.

    - Inter-pivot Heel: Offers a great freeride holding force thanks to its DIN / ISO values of 6-16. The pressure is directed at the angle of elasticity which increases the holding force and prevents early triggering.

Prime 4.0 Ski Package 2019 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
