Le MTN Summit 79 are Men's alpine skis from Salomon.
Intended for fast ski touring, the MTN Summit 79 is minimalist for an ultra-fast ascent and an easy descent. It is a ski for adventure with performance always in mind, allowing you to make very long ascents in the best conditions.
Its weight is reduced to 980g thanks to its karuba core and a Koroyd TPU spatula which gives it more resistance to wear. This Tip precisely offers a rocker profile for a better maneuverability and tolerance against irregularities of the ground.
The MTN Summit 79 features composite carbon / flax reinforcements along the length of the ski, highly resistant materials and excellent stability while being extremely lightweight. The performances on the descent are really good, especially thanks to the "wide" side cut for a ski of less than 1kg. In addition, it incorporates a titanium insert in the attachment area for better support.
