The backpackMaven 58 Rc Ocean Slate from Gregory is an innovative women's backpack that fills the gap between ultralight minimalist bags and over-equipped bags.

The result is a comfortable, functional bag that's ideal for day hikes. The backpack's 58 litre volume allows you to easily carry all the equipment you need. The alloy frame wishbone frame and transverse fibreglass reinforcements provide stable load management and good torsional flexibility.
It features the hybrid suspension system Freefloatsystem, combining the lightness and fit of the mesh waistband with the comfort and stability of a back panel 3D AirCushion for excellent back contact and ventilation. The best of both worlds in one backpack. For even greater comfort, the back system and waistbelt are adjustable so that they become one with the Maven 58.
Pockets include a floating top pocket with large zipped compartment, stretch enamel pockets on two sides, one with side access. The main pocket has a drawstring closure with top strap pull and compression. New this year, a stretch mesh pocket has been added to the left shoulder strap for a pair of glasses, a small water flask or even a small snack.

This ultra-functional model is compatible with the 3D Hydro Reservior hydration system and features rain protection with its own designated pocket. The QuickStow system allows you to attach your sunglasses to the shoulder strap for quick access. There is an attachment loop for carrying poles or ice axes.
This bag also has a lower compartment for the sleeping bag, with a zip and removable divider.
