The M-Vertical 88 2022 is a men's touring ski from Dynastar.
A worthy successor to the Vertical Eagle, the M-Vertical 88 2022 is a very versatile and high performance ski, which is perfect for all the most beautiful summits, whether hiking or mountaineering. It is very dynamic on the ascent thanks to its lightweight HYBRIDCORE construction, which combines the benefits of wood (Paulownia) and the benefits of composite, resulting in a lightweight ski that is as forgiving and comfortable as possible.
The M-Vertical 88's 3D PROFILE construction optimises the ski's profile, and makes it suitable for downhill skiing, with reinforced areas to conduct energy from the ski centre to its extremities.
The M-Vertical 88 2022 is the ideal ski for ski tourers going on treks lasting one or more days.

Shape:
- Classic camber TIP ROCKER: Rocker modéré en spatule uniquement. It makes flat pivots easier, combining smooth turning with a high level of tolerance. The moderate profile means that the skis turn on the full length of their edges.
Construction:
- Sandwich: Modern sandwich construction with a wooden core, vertical edges, fiberglass as well as Titanal or carbon reinforcements: The wooden core gives the ski its character and the rectangular structure allows for a better distribution of flexibility. The vertical sidewalls provide a powerful and effective grip.
Core structure :
- Paulownia Wood Core: The Paulownia wood core reduces the weight of the skis by 25%. Dynastar combines this wood with fibres developed by the race department to guarantee optimal skiability and performance. The ultralight foam is inserted in strips into the Paulownia wood core.
Reinforcement
The M-Vertical is an excellent touring ski: good for both uphill and downhill.
Whilst not very accessible, it is very high-performingthanks to its 88mm waist, the skis keep a good grip on hard snow and a good lift on the powder.
Its ultra-light construction, 2300g per pair, makes it very easy to climb while keeping a good stability on the descent.
The Vertical is the perfect ski for those who want to climb to the top of the steepest slopes.
