The Couloir is a ski mountaineering harness from Black Diamond.
Simple and light to allow you to progress easily in your high altitude races, the Couloir is at ease in ski touring, in progression on glacial terrain or in technical high mountain routes.
The harness is made of Single-strand Dynex Variable width. This makes it light and compressible while maximising durability. The trigger guard features Infinity Loop technology, which provides a seamless, durable trigger guard that cannot be turned.
Ergonomically, there is a buckle at the waist and two straps that allow the harness to be put on easily even when the skis are on. At the waist there are two gear loops and two Ice Clipper holder loops, two thigh loops for attaching ice screws.
The Couloir is a perfect harness for both ski mountaineering and non ski mountaineering trips.
