The Corvus Freebird 2021 is a mixed touring ski from the Black Crowsbrand, which is part of the brand's touring range.
As with for the entire Freebird range, Black Crows has sought the best compromise to offer skis that are lighter, but still highly technical and of high-performance. The Corvus Freebird has a new, less pronounced tip rocker, a more dynamic heel and elongated rib lines this year. The result is a more aggressive and precise drive in and out of turns and the ski becomes more dynamic. This lightweight version of Corvus is still as performant and highly efficient as the original!
In terms of the shape, Corvus Freebird is built around a poplar core combined with mixed carbon and glass fibres. A titanial reinforcement under the foot allows it to adapt to the new hybrid bindings and increase stability. All this for a reasonable weight of 3750g, which offers a good performance on the way up and allows you to attack the descent with better physical form!
Its classic long camber and 21-metre radius give the Corvus Freebirdplenty of power and lift, as well as alpine style turning for fast and relaxed skiing. With its 107 mm wide waist , it will carry you through the powder !
Thus, the Corvus Freebird is a ski of choice for all mountain lovers, who are looking for a powerful and dynamic ski touring!

The Corvus Freebirdis a fat model from theBlack Crows Freebird range. It takes up the spirit of its classic version while being adapted for ski touring.
We like its character and behaviour whatever the snow and the terrain. It's a ski that's perfect for a gentle ascent and, as soon as the slope reverses, send it hard to get the most out of every turn. This freebird version makes the Corvus more manoeuverable and a little softer and therefore more forgiving, which is perfect when your legs have already warmed up on the way up.
Advantages: downhill performance, power, lightness
Disadvantages: wide for a purely ski touring program
