The Backland 95 is a men's touring ski from Atomic. A real freetouring ski with a 95mm waist which will allow you to have fun on descents while keeping a light weight on ascents.
The Backland range's success comes from its perfect adaptation to both aspects of ski touring. Indeed, the Ultra Light Woodcore provides it with extreme lightness on ascents and perfect stability on descents. Moreover, it is just as efficient on packed snow as in powder.
This model is exactly halfway between a freeride ski and a touring ski, it can tackle powder, choppy snow and even packed snow. It features the Horizon Tech spoon-shaped tip, which provides you with perfect performance in powder snow and makes it even lighter and easier to ski off-piste, even on crusty snow.
The Cap Sidewall construction guarantees ideal power transmission and excellent grip on all types of terrain and the tip rocker makes riding easy on all types of snow. In addition, it features a carbon insert which reinforces the structure of the ski without extra weight. You can also find pre-cut skins specially designed for this ski.
This Backland 95 is really made for freetouring lovers looking for a light and wide ski, which will adapt to all conditions
