Vibram® Litebase: Vibram® Litebase is an innovative technology designed to significantly reduce the weight of the outsole by reducing the thickness of the rubber, while maintaining the lugs' layout and structure, giving it the same performance as a thicker outsole. Vibram® Litebase technology reduces sole thickness by around 40-50%, from 1.7mm to 0.5-0.9mm, depending on the sole type, resulting in a weight reduction of 25-30%. The substantial reduction in rubber thickness does not compromise sole traction, durability or the risk of laceration.
